The site lies immediately adjacent to the existing urban area of Chippenham, directly to the north of Hill Corner Road. Birds Marsh Wood, a County Wildlife and significant local landscape feature is located to the north of the site.

The site is approximately 48 hectares comprising 750 homes, employment space, a Local Centre, a Primary School, a New Link Road and Public Open Space.

Planning

An Outline Planning application was submitted in 2012 to Wiltshire Council on Land at North Chippenham. This application was approved in February 2016.

The site is shared between Barratt/David Wilson Homes and Persimmon homes who developed the residential elements of the scheme.

Construction

Estate completions regarding final surfacing works and public open spaces currently ongoing. Estimated works 18 months
