Parish Brook is situated adjacent to, but beyond the existing western settlement boundary of Nailsea and will consist of 171 homes. This will include 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses.

A wide range of existing services and facilities are located within walking distance of the site, including a Co-operative supermarket, a butcher, Hannah More Infant and Grove Junior Schools and employment opportunities at West End Trading Estate located off Engine Lane.

Bus stops along Hannah More Road are located within walking distance of the site and provide regular services to Nailsea town centre, Nailsea and Backwell railway station, Bristol City Centre, Portishead, Congresbury and Weston super Mare.

Planning

A full application was submitted to North Somerset Council in May 2017 and registered under planning reference 17/P/1250/F. The application went to the North Somerset planning committee in November 2017, where Barratt secured a Resolution to Grant planning permission for the development.

The S106 agreement has now been signed and planning is approved.

Construction

Play park currently closed due to maintenance and waiting for landscaping. Bottom park is open.

Central public open space closed as waiting for top soil and seeding to establish.

With the spring season upon us, we would like to share the enclosed link for useful tips and advise on caring for your garden and home during the warmer seasons.

• All work within our customers’ homes is now being completed as per our standard processes. Please continue to notify us should you become ill and wish to cancel your appointment. All appointments are booked through our office team, who will ensure all relevant information about the appointment  is captured and shared with you.
• Customer Care office hours are 09.00 to 17.00 and they can be contacted via email on bristol@newhomecare.co.uk . There is a current SLA of 3 days for a response.
• For emergencies during office hours, please email bristol@newhomecare.co.uk, clearly stating ‘EMERGENCY’ in the subject line or call the office number 01454 628000.
• For emergencies outside of normal office hours (between 5pm and 9am weekdays or during the weekend) please call 0345 601 6084. This line will not be operational during normal office hours.

• During periods of freezing temperatures, we recommend that customers isolate and drain any external taps to prevent issues caused by frozen pipework.
