About the site

Barratt at Whittle Gardens will deliver a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes, and 34% affordable housing. As part of the wider outline planning consent, a play area will be located to the north of the Barratt development.

Planning

A Reserved Matters planning consent was granted on the site for the ‘Erection of 144 homes, associated landscaping and infrastructure on Parcel 6’ in July 2021.

The site was acquired in June 2022.

Construction

Construction is now complete on site by Barratt Homes. We are currently working through the estate picking up remedials and any missing items, while we are completing the final finishes to the last few remaining plots, to which will then see our compound dismantled and removed from site

 Final surfacing of the spine road will be completed by Taylor Wimpey Homes who own this section of road. We are currently liaising with Taylor Wimpey Homes for dates for this work to take place.

The play park will also be installed by Taylor Wimpey Homes and we are liaising with Taylor Wimpey Homes to get this installed following completion of the site

With the spring season upon us, we would like to share the enclosed link for useful tips and advise on caring for your garden and home during the warmer seasons.

• • All work within our customers’ homes is now being completed as per our standard processes. Please continue to notify us should you become ill and wish to cancel your appointment. All appointments are booked through our office team, who will ensure all relevant information about the appointment  is captured and shared with you.
  • Customer Care office hours are 09.00 to 17.00 and they can be contacted via email on bristol@newhomecare.co.uk . There is a current SLA of 3 days for a response.
  • For emergencies during office hours, please email bristol@newhomecare.co.uk, clearly stating ‘EMERGENCY’ in the subject line or call the office number 01454 628000.
  • For emergencies outside of normal office hours (between 5pm and 9am weekdays or during the weekend) please call 0345 601 6084. This line will not be operational during normal office hours.

  • During periods of freezing temperatures, we recommend that customers isolate and drain any external taps to prevent issues caused by frozen pipework.
